In 2024, Ticketmaster UK reported gross profits of just over £142 million. That same year, the Music Venue Trust reported that over 200 grassroots music venues were on the brink of permanent closure.

The end result is clear - Eld Varg are only continuing to refine and build their sound, delivering a Nordic-tinged metal soundscape. It's easy to see how they have earned a reputation.

The opening marks six years since the original branch closed in 2018, after HMV went into administration. They have since been bought out by Canadian retailer Sunrise Records, securing 100 stores and multiple jobs.
