Tonight is a reminder that the best metal has always been fun. Maybe the world would be a better place if we all dressed like a pink flamingo or jigged our way through any metal band's set.

The duo's refined technical edge shines through the track, layering instruments and joint vocals in a way that really emphasises the soundscape on show. Structurally, there's not a lot of variety, but it's not that type of song, trading it instead for immersive atmosphere.

There's something distinct about YOUR PERSONAL VENDETTA, their synth driven sound drenched in red-toned, cinematic aesthetics. Their latest release, "Hero", sets the year off on a strong note, and certainly puts my 2026 reviews off to a good start.
