Entertainment Giant HMV Set To Return To Peterborough Shopping Centre This Month

In an exciting announcement back in September, it was revealed that music and pop culture giant HMV would be returning to Peterborough after six years. Now, Queensgate have confirmed that it will be opening towards the end of this month, taking up the old FatFace shop space.

In a post on Facebook, Queensgate shopping centre announced the shop will be opening "late November", and will mark the third time the music shop has had a Peterborough branch.

The opening marks six years since the original branch closed in 2018, after HMV went into administration. They have since been bought out by Canadian retailer Sunrise Records, securing 100 stores and multiple jobs.

Posts have been put out asking for staff, including permanent and seasonal sales assistants.
