New month means new music, and what better way to kick off June than with the latest from ADARNA MAY EXIST. The post hardcore band are based across the South of England, and new release "Flames" marks the first with their new lineup. The track also serves as an exciting taster of the band's forthcoming debut EP.
A quick little drum fill sets things going, melodic leads layered over chugging guitars. The band have paid homage to the early to mid 2000s post-hardcore sound, atmospheric verses blending with big, anthemic choruses. It's hard to not feel immersed in the soundscape.
"Can you find me in the dark?" vocalist Teej cries. You can already predit a room full of fans screaming along with him.
The track makes the most of its runtime, clocking in it just under five minutes but resonating beyond that. A short breakdown section switches up the dynamics, Teej holding his hand out to the listener for one last chorus.

The band have described this release as moving in a "heavier, more complete direction". All signs point to this being a good move, as it really feels like something special is starting to brew here.
"Flames" is out NOW on streaming services
