DEAD HEROES are brand new on to the scene, delivering fresh alt rock riffage in a bold, hard hitting package. The duo's debut single "Witch Doctor" showcases this, using catchy rhythms and dynamic soundscapes.

Even better, this is just the beginning, as the band work towards their first album.

A quick cymbal hit introduces the track, before going straight into the verse. Palm muted guitars, lightly distorted, lead the rhythm, with a distinct alt rock edge to the vocals. There's something particularly groovy about that leading riff, carrying the energy as the track moves.

Throughout the track, the band flex their rock technicalities - fuzzed up choruses, snare backbeat, backing vocals providing some sonically pleasant "oohs". The band are refined in their skillset, producing a hard hitting sound that's easy to forget there's only two people.

As the vocals intensify during the bridge section, swelling and flowing with the track, a tom fill reaches a crescendo before the heaviness returns. It's a strong ending point, a great jumping point for what's to come.
