After a short break with no new music, Replica Jesus are back! New release "The Rope" sees the band at full form, delivering fuzzy riffs and pounding rhythms.

Big, heavy power chords kick the track off - the overdriven guitar and punching drums working in unison to create something worth your attention.

The track is laced with an infectious groove, toeing the line between stoner rock and grunge. This is the band's first release since their 2023 album "Echoes From The Expanse", and no time is wasted in reintroducing listeners to the fuzz filled soundscape.

The music is big and simple, focusing on feel instead of any virtuosic tendencies. Some lead guitar licks littered throughout add flourish, but these are merely decorative. The slow, cruising rhythm carries the track, and the instrumentation is a perfect accompaniment.

By the end of the track, the backing vocals add depth, and you can't help but hum along with the melody.

If the band slipped under your radar with the 2023 release, now's the chance to be reminded of them again. And with more music looming on the horizon, now is a great time to add Replica Jesus to your regular rotation of songs.
