Some things just take their time. Self described "riff worship" LUNG are testament to that, with their debut album "Volume" taking roughly five years to come to fruition. Released in 2023, the album saw the band generate big buzz around the Cardiff doom scene, rightly identifying them as a strong force in the genre.

The people of Birmingham and beyond have gathered here tonight at the Utilita Arena, as Tobias Forge and co deliver the final show in the UK leg of GHOST's Skeletour. The tour has seen stops at Manchester, Glasgow and London, arriving in Birmingham before moving to mainland Europe.

Four-piece HAEZE are slowly carving a name for themselves in Southampton's rock scene. First appearing on people's radars (including mine) back in February with grunge-laden "Window in Time", the band are back with follow up single "Rise". Where "Window..." was firmly in the fuzzy psychedelic lane, "Rise" sees a more ambitious attempt at straddling genres, balancing technicality with groove.
