They might have only released four songs, but GREYSIGHT are undeniably a force to be reckoned with. They're heavy, angry and ready to leave their mark on the scene. Latest track "Heirloom", which also sees a feature from UnityTX, sees the band continue their aggressive streak.
In the build up to the release, I had the chance to speak to the band and find out about the track, the feature, and the band's journey so far.
R: Hi guys! It's great having you on the page. First of all, how would you describe yourselves as band?
Greysight is unapologetically heavy, honest, and emotionally charged. At the core, it’s about turning our struggles into something raw and unfiltered.
- Jamie (vocals)
"We’re delivering it more confidently now. Every release has felt like a step forward"
You've recently released your latest track (at the time of publication), 'Heirloom', which also sees a feature with UnityTX. How did the feature come about?
We’ve been fans of UnityTX for a while, so when we saw Jay was open to features, we reached out. It might not be the most dramatic origin story, but we’re proud of how the track turned out and grateful he was down to be part of it.
- Mike (Guitar)
What was the writing process like for the track?
"Heirloom" was on the back burner for a bit - but when Mike joined the band, he brought a fresh energy that really helped breathe new life into it. Once the feature came together, everything just fell into place and the track finally felt like Greysight.
- Adam (Guitar/Production)
You've adopted a 'stealth' approach with releasing and advertising the track. What made this option more appealing to you as a band?
Honestly, we’re just tired of the same formulaic rollout every band seems to follow. The slow drip-feed of teasers and countdowns just doesn’t excite us. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Dropping “Heartburn” out of nowhere felt way more raw and genuine, and the reaction was wild. We wanted to do the same with "Heirloom" and let the music speak for itself.

Looking back to April with your debut release "Heartburn", what's changed or developed the most with each release?
"Heartburn" was a solid foundation, it got us on the map and gave people a taste of what we’re about. Since then, we’ve tightened things up a lot behind the scenes. New production, a fresh mix approach, and just a way better vibe creatively. We’ve leaned harder into our visual identity too, which helps tie everything together.
Musically, it’s still the same raw, unfiltered aggression - we’re just delivering it more confidently now. Every release has felt like a step forward.
