ugust will mark a year since the band's EP release, but it feels no time has passed in this regard. Where "Regicide" left off, "Warlord" picks up effortlessly, a slick continuation of the band's self described gothic folk rock storytelling. This is a band that have so much more to give - it'll be interesting seeing where else the year takes them.

Draw the curtains, get the popcorn, it's time for some spooktacular rock'n'roll! No movie marathon here though - rather the debut album from Birmingham horror punks MIDNIGHT FEATURE.

Thorn's latest release, "Static", builds on the atmosphere, and delivers a release that ultimately puts the band three for three.

If MYSTICIST isn't already a familiar name, I'm hoping that that will change with the band's newest single, "The Crown". The Northants based band have built a heavy reputation thus far with previous tracks, and delightfully show no signs of slowing down with this latest release.

One new band to recently come on my radar is Lincoln based DEADLY CHANGES. The band straddle the often thin line between hard rock and traditional metal, and have recently released their debut single "Ride Or Die".
